Privacy Policy — MindSparks

Effective date: July 18, 2026

MindSparks ("the App", "we", "us") is a brain-training puzzle game for Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Summary

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, request, or process: names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, location data, photos, microphone or camera input, health data, financial data, or any account credentials. The App requires no sign-up and has no user accounts.

3. Local Data Storage

Gameplay state — including your calibration profile, realm progress, Arena results, and app settings — is persisted exclusively on your device via Jetpack DataStore. This data:

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays interstitial and rewarded advertisements served by Google AdMob. In connection with serving ads, Google may automatically collect and process:

This processing is performed by Google under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

How Google uses information from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization at any time via Android Settings → Google → Ads.

5. GDPR (European Economic Area, UK, Switzerland)

Where required, a consent dialog is shown before personalized ads are served. Legal bases for processing are consent (personalized ads) and legitimate interest (non-personalized ads and fraud prevention, handled by Google). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time via the in-app privacy options or Android system settings. Because we hold no personal data ourselves, requests regarding ad data should be directed to Google via the links above; we will assist where feasible.

6. CCPA/CPRA (California)

We do not sell or share personal information. Ad-related identifiers processed by Google may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA; you may opt out by disabling ads personalization in Android Settings. California residents may exercise their rights (know, delete, opt out, non-discrimination) via the contact address below.

7. Children (COPPA)

MindSparks is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad requests are configured in accordance with Google Play Families and AdMob policies. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App's ad integration, contact us and we will assist in addressing it.

8. Security

The App holds no remote data. All network traffic generated by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Local data is protected by Android's application sandboxing.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
